Company Overview

CropMom is an Internet-based service that allows its members to create one-of-a-kind digital scrapbook pages, cards and artwork that preserve cherished photos and memories for generations to come. Our mission is to reinvent scrapbooking, card making and storytelling by making it easier than ever to create designer-quality digital layouts that can be printed at home or professionally.

CropMom’s online service allows members to upload their photos and embellish them with our top-of-the-line scrapbook graphics. The ability to create unique works of art is endless. The results are highly personalized and creative digital scrapbook pages, cards or artwork.

Membership at CropMom is free. Members may create and download low-resolution digital layouts for personal use, such as on blogs, Web sites or in emails, at no charge. The low-resolution files contain the CropMom logo. Members who want logo-free, high-quality digital layouts suitable for printing by a photofinisher or on a home printer may purchase the high-resolution files from CropMom. High-resolution layouts are delivered electronically as .JPEG files and are for personal use only.

CropMom Corporation is based in Poway, California, just outside of San Diego, and was incorporated in California in 2008. Besides the CropMom online scrapbooking Web site, CropMom Corporation also operates KB and Friends, an Internet-based seller of digital scrapbooking products since 2006.

President and CEO

CropMom founder, president and chief executive officer Kathryn Balint is a graphic designer who is known in the digital scrapbook industry for her vintage, retro and altered art-style designs. She has been designing digital scrapbook products since 2005 and making digital scrapbook layouts since 1997.

Kathryn’s layouts have been published in The Joy of Scrapbooking by Kerry Arquette, Andrea Zocchi and Darlene D’Agostino. Kathryn founded KB and Friends, formerly Kathryn Balint Digital Scrapbooking, in 2006. Kathryn has a bachelor of science in journalism from Northwestern University and was a reporter for The San Diego Union-Tribune for 22 years.
